When IoL detects a client application wants to be notified of a data entity change, it makes a HTTP POST with a payload of a JSON formatted envelope containing the data and the operation to an HTTP endpoint.

The first step in consuming a webhook is to configure the webhook (using the IoL administration GUI) by selecting which data entity should trigger the webhook, the security settings, and by providing a URL to deliver requests to.

The webhook will then POST data to your application in JSON format, embedded in a webhook envelope. The envelope types currently supported are:

Optionally, you can define filter conditions to specify the conditions under which the webhook is triggered.
